Northern California contractors deserved a locally owned partner. So in October 2025, we opened the doors.

How We Got Here

Built for Contractors. Inspired by Contractors.

After spending decades serving builders throughout Northern California, we kept hearing the same message from contractors we respected: “We just want a strong, locally owned supplier that understands our business.”

Those conversations stayed with us. Contractors weren't asking for another lumberyard. They were asking for a partner who understood the realities of bidding work, meeting schedules, managing budgets, solving jobsite problems, and delivering the level of service that helps projects succeed.

We believed they deserved that choice.

So, in October 2025, we opened the doors to Shasta Building Supply. Not because the market needed another supplier, but because we believed Northern California contractors deserved a locally owned one.

Today, that same belief continues to guide every decision we make. Whether we're helping price a custom home, delivering a lumber package, supplying windows and doors, or supporting one of our insulation projects, our mission remains the same: to help Northern California contractors make better purchasing decisions, protect project margins, and build more successful businesses.
